PROFILE: As an artist / designer, combined with my broad experience in the fashion and interior design market, I bring a unique level of intuition and knowledge to my profession. From the creation of an object or room through to its final presentation I have the depth of experience to realize its full potential.

EXPERIENCE:
CREATIVE DIRECTOR, LINDSAY DAKOTA DESIGN, LOS ANGELES. 1988-2008

Interior and product design studio. Responsible for all aspects involved in running an independent design studio. Some of the interiors created were for film producers; Breakfield Doven, Kennedy Marshall, actor Kelsey Grammer, musician Trent Reznor among others in the world of arts and finance. The firm was a creative consultant on the interior design for the Dell and Meyer residences. Custom retail, wholesale and consumer fixture and furnishings design covering all periods and styles.
Freelance apparel design for Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Gramicci and Nautica.
Licensed line of outdoor furnishings for Designer Imports International.
Licensed line of bath fixtures and products for Bam Bam Designs.
Guest designer for Avonite Products.
Project designer for the eBay home style book by Barbara Guggenheim and published by Harper Collins.

Art Director and Set Designer. Creative concept, interpretation and implementation of advertising, editorial campaigns. Clients have included; American Express, Nike, Gianni Versace, Elle Decor, Vogue, Newsweek, Four Seasons Hotels and Tiffany's. Films have included Academy Award nominated Let's Get Lost directed by Bruce Weber.

Retail and wholesale showroom of self designed products including soft goods, furnishings and lighting.

Creative consultant to Naomi Leff & Associates interior design.
Clients included the Spielberg, Cruise, Diller, Katzenberg and Weston residences. and corporate clients Windsor Polo Club, Beaver Creek Conference Center, Dreamworks SKG among others.

Creative consultant to Nautica. Reported to CEO David Chu on market trends for apparel and all aspects of home furnishings. It included art direction on all national advertising, the interior and fixture design of the Nautica Home Collection showroom and apparel collection fashion shows. On the interpretation of of clothing collections and implementation of home collection ideas, I designed Nautica's Divine Design showroom and the Hampton's Decorator Show House exhibit.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS, POLO RALPH LAUREN, NYC. 1985-1988
Creative responsibilities included all wholesale showroom design at corporate level and directing each season's concepts to all lower level visual design. Creating and executing the design of sets for all national advertising. Apparel collection show design. Special fixture design for flagship stores. In 1985, I was one of the original three who worked directly with Ralph Lauren in establishing what is now widely known as the “Ralph Lauren look”.
